VORSK VMP-1X SMG GREY
The VORSK VMP-1 is a lightweight, full-polymer gas-blow-back SMG that is equally at home on the skirmish field as in the CQB arena.
VORSK is on a quest to bring Gas-Blow-Back brilliance to the airsoft field. Building on their extensive line of Gas-Blow-Back sidearms, the VMP-1 is their first excursion into the field of Sub-Machine Guns. The VMP, which was announced at IWA 2023 and will be available in shops this summer, has received a lot of attention for its tiny, lightweight design, user-friendly features, and, of course, superb GBB performance.
The VMP-1, made of a robust and lightweight polymer, is a great main in CQB settings. With the buttstock sunk into your shoulder and your hands positioned in front of the barrel, you’ll have a broad yet controllable “sweep” angle, ideal for navigating obstructions and room clearances. The 15° tilt-mechanism built within the buttstock significantly improves the corner transitions. This spring-centered tilt allows you to angle your body around a corner while keeping the VMP-1 straight, which reduces the possibility of side-sweeping BBs produced by the hop-curve not being parallel to the ground. The stock itself folds down the right edge of the VMP-1; merely raise the lock mechanism and spin into position – “akimbo, anyone?”.
The pistol grip has moulded stippling for firm gripping. Green fibre sights are neatly packed inside the 20mm flattop accessory rail. Although it is difficult to get your eyeline behind the buttstock, the brilliant fibre sights allow for quick, instinctive parallax sighting and target acquisition. The foldable stock is incorporated into an M4 Stock Tube receiver slot, allowing you to retrofit your VMP-1 with whatever M4 stock you want.
Designed for the CQB arena, but also capable of competing on the airsoft field. The VMP-1 collapses to a length of only 345mm. With the option to change the rear stock with an M4 QD Sling Point and aftermarket holsters on the way, the VMP-1 is an excellent choice for an explosive secondary in any Sniper/DMR setup. But it doesn’t have to be a backup when out in the wilderness of your nearest skirmish field; the VMP-1 can strike targets accurately with a predictable flight path at +30m and an extraordinarily high ROF (Rate of Fire), so it’ll undoubtedly get you out of a jam when needed.
